Breakfast With Santa

Breakfast with Santa is Norway’s annual fundraiser and holiday social event. For those new to the school or new to this event, or just in need of a refresher, we’ve pulled together all the important details to ensure the day always runs smoothly.

Tickets for this event are sold for one of three seatings:

8:00 am-9:30 am
9:45 am-11:15 am
11:30 am-1:00 pm

To buy your tickets visit school cash online or see Kim in the office.

Always arrive during your designated time (i.e., the seating for which you bought tickets!). At the end of each seating time we’ll be clearing the gym to make room for the next round of ticket holders.

Important note: All students must be accompanied by an adult. Students are volunteering (grade 5s & 6s), eating, or shopping with their families. There should be no hanging around the school beyond your designated seating time.

Where: Norway gym

Make sure you have your tickets to show at the door (everyone over the age of 2 requires a ticket and tickets WILL NOT be available at the door).

Help contribute to our Centre 55 Toy/Gift Drive. We’ll have donation boxes set up in the foyer so if you have new toys/gifts or non-perishable food items, you can bring them when you arrive for your seating.

Proceed to the gym where you’ll find a delicious breakfast buffet with pancakes, sausages, fruit, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffee and more! You can begin with breakfast, or if your prefer you can stop by the free children’s craft table or have your face painted.

SAY Ho Ho Ho!
Santa will arrive 30 minutes after the start of your sitting. He will be on the gym stage for 1 hour and available for photos. Photos are $5 each and will be printed on the spot for you to take home. Note: We will accept cash only for Santa photos!

COBS bakery on Queen Street has generously donated “free loaf” vouchers! For every Santa photo your purchase you’ll receive one of these vouchers. Upon leaving the stage, children will receive a loot bag from Santa’s helper elves.

During your Breakfast with Santa seating you’ll be invited to visit the Norway Holiday Marketplace. Local artisans and vendors will be on site selling baked goods (think: delicious gingerbread and holiday crackle), jewellery, handmade gifts, hats, notebooks, brand name gifts, and more! Note: many of our vendors only accept cash so please prepare accordingly.

Also watch for the Grade 6 table which will include raffles, candy guessing games, and more to help raise funds for graduation.

Be sure to visit the library as well, because there you’ll find our annual Scholastic Book Fair – with tons of books and gifts for children of all ages.
