As one of the oldest schools in the Toronto District School Board, Norway Junior Public School is rich in both history and heart. Norway P.S. has addressed the education needs of our community for more than 100 years. In fact, our school’s roots can be traced back to a rural schoolhouse built in 1848.
Even though we’re a small school with approximately 300 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6, Norway P.S. has a strong sense of community and pride. Our teachers work hard to build strong, lasting relationships with their students. In addition to the day-to-day work of teaching, Norway’s staff help run many extracurricular activities such as softball, basketball, volleyball, hockey, soccer, track & field, kilometre club, cross country running, choir, and a school musical.
